The iconic annual ski day at Breckenridge — community, culture, and fresh powder.
Ethiopian Ski Day is AfroHabesha Outdoors' flagship annual event — a day on the slopes at Breckenridge, Colorado where the Ethiopian and African diaspora community comes together to ski, snowboard, and experience the mountains like never before.
No experience required. We welcome first-timers and seasoned skiers alike. Equipment rentals are available directly at the resort, and our community will help guide beginners throughout the day.
The day wraps up with traditional Ethiopian vegan food (የአገልግል ምግብ – Agelegl), shared stories, and the warm feeling of community in the cold mountain air. 🇪🇹
AfroHabesha Outdoors is a community organization and has no official affiliation with Breckenridge Ski Resort. Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own lift tickets and arranging equipment rentals directly through the resort. Participation is at your own risk. We are here to organize community, not provide professional instruction.
Equipment rentals are available directly at Breckenridge resort. We recommend booking in advance online for better pricing and availability.
